Who we are
About ContentPillow, a link shop for owner-written posts
We sell individual backlinks to people who write their own content. That is the whole business, and this page says what that does and does not include.
What we do
ContentPillow is a self-serve marketplace for individual dofollow backlinks: editorial placements and link insertions on traffic-vetted websites. The list holds 50,000+ vetted donor domains, and prices run from $1 up to about $500 a link.
You find links, add them to a basket, review it and pay from a balance. Simple. The article is written automatically unless you give your own prompt or finished text, and placements usually go live within about 24 hours.
Our data comes from our own crawler and our own index. That is why every row can show Domain Rating, traffic and referring domains.
Why the pillar post is the centre of everything here
A pillar post is the one long guide on your site that answers the question customers ask most. Simple idea. A dentist writes about what a crown costs, a florist about wedding flowers by season, a bookkeeper about what to keep for a tax year.
That guide is the page worth supporting. Short posts around it can point to it with internal links, which cost nothing, and a few outside links give it a first push. Keep it simple, because that is the whole idea behind the name.
We do not think every business needs links. Some need a better post, a faster site or a Google Business Profile. Be ready to find that out, and be glad when you do, because it saves money.
What we leave out on purpose
No ranking promises
Links are one input among many. We will not say a purchase moves you up, because nobody can say that honestly.
No retainers
There is no subscription and no monthly minimum. You spend when you have a post worth supporting.
No keyword suite
For deep keyword and competitor research, Ahrefs and Semrush are fuller tools. We stay with buying placements.
No invented proof
You will not find made-up customers or testimonials on this site. Worked examples are marked as examples.
How the marketplace is run
Publishers can also sell links on their own sites. They set a price, approve every placement and are paid weekly, which keeps the inventory made of real sites with real editors behind them.
You can order in the dashboard, by REST API with a Bearer key, or through an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude over MCP. Most owners we write for will never touch the API. It is there for the day you hire a developer.
Balance is topped up in the dashboard. Invoices and proforma invoices are available when your bookkeeper asks. Compare this to the vendor scorecard and see if it fits you.
Our work for you stops once the placement is live and listed. We do not run your posting calendar, so add the week-by-week page to yours and check back at week four.
Who we write for
Our pages are aimed at owners of shops, clinics, studios and trades who write their own guides. Agencies have their own sibling brand, and these pages are not written for them.
The articles on this site are published by the ContentPillow editorial team. Start with the first-five checklist or the vendor scorecard, and use your account for anything about an order or for contacting us.
